The superfine alpaca is 100% traceable, hypoallergenic with its near lack of lanolin, and in a lovely range of six colors that comes from the natural variety in the animals’ fleeces. The organic cotton in Sweetgrass is an undyed warm white, and when mixed with the alpaca, it creates a beautiful, soft heather. A fingering weight that knits up at about 7 stitches per inch on US 2 or 3 needles, use Sweetgrass for absolutely beautiful three-season scarves, wraps, and sweaters, or double it for super cabin-y blankets. At 437 yards per skein, you’ll go far with just a few skeins!
