100% Bavarian Merino Wool
2ply
woollen spun
100g skein
100g = 220m
Recommended needle size: 3.00 -4.5mm

The yarn has not been washed after spinning and will bloom when the spinning oil is removed. It’s listed as heavy DK, but after washing, it feels closer to an aran or heavy worsted.
Unwashed it can be knitted on needles as small as 2.5mm if you wish to get a dense fabric eg traditional Bavarian Cardigan (Trachtenjanker).

As a woollen spun yarn it’s very light and airy as well as very warm.
