This yarn has a lovely sheen which comes from both the silk and the yak fibre content. A beautifully strong yarn which will knit up equally well in a garment, or a shawl

This 4ply or fingering weight base has a fibre content of 60% Merino, 20% Yak and 20% Silk, making it a lustrous, strong yarn base. Each 100g hank contains approximately 366m per 100g. Please note: All the merino that I dye comes from sheep that do not undergo mulesing

The stitch definition is very good.
