When a yarn is recycled, especially from clothing like denim jeans, like this yarn, it is impossible to guarantee that there was not a bit of nylon thread in the seams or acrylic thread in some decorative embroidery or logo. Certainly the mills try, but they can not honestly say 100% cotton, thus the 95% cotton and 5% other.
