The DOMOVIK is a friendly and helpful spirit of the ancestral founder of the family he lives with. He resides behind the home’s stove but is tied to his family and follows them should they move. The only thing he expected in exchange for his help and protection was a morsel of food left for him each day. And although ancient Slavic families had a lot of different friendly spirits helping them in and around the house, all of them answered to him.

Our Domovik does not only take care of warmth but also good well-being, that is why he tries to cheer everyone up with wonderful colourways and softness enchanted into woolly skeins. The yarn is very soft, springy and does not scratch at all, that’s why it is suitable for all kinds of knits from sweaters to scarfs.

Envelopment with such woolly clothing will warm any creature from head to toe. Since we are talking about toes, it works best with socks! It’s Merino-nylon blend makes it more durable and resistant to pilling, it’s dedicated for knits that will be treated harshly.

For variety and more fun we also recommend two-coloured sets – ideal for socks with contrasting toes/heals or welts.
