Montadale is a modern US breed with medium wool. It was developed by crossing Cheviot with Columbia cross sheep breeds.

This yarn has 10% nylon added to make it machine washable. It will shrink in one direction maybe 10%, but not felt. It also gets softer after machine washing.

Great lightweight yarn for easy wearing in warmer climates and great for babies.
