Astraea is 80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, 10% silver stellina. It’s super soft, with a soft shimmer from the stellina (which takes on the color the yarn is dyed, so it doesn’t stand out as super-shiny or garish). The stellina is quite soft as well, so it doesn’t affect the lovely feel of this yarn.

While some yarns & fibers include superwash wools, to achieve the best wear we recommend handwashing all our products in lukewarm water with a gentle soap and laying flat to dry. Some additional dye exhaust may occur with some colors.
