Malaga Print
Enchanting delicious color combinations dominate in Malaga Print which is balled up in a pullskein. Here you start with the innermost thread and use the skein from within. You’ll appreciate that the skein will lay still while you work - Rather than rolling around on the floor or in the bag.
The super soft and full-bodied acrylic yarn consists of four threads which all have a gradual color shift..
The four threads are twined together into one thread, and the color shifts “meet” at different places in the skein. It creates unique and unpredictable color combinations, making it different and fascinating to work with.
Malaga Print is a great choice if you don’t tolerate wool - it is soft, warm, and easy to handle as it can be machine washed.
Malaga Print is a premium acrylic, so it has been spun from a very high quality. This means that the yarn is processed in several steps, which may well be reminiscent of the processing of wool. Among these steps, the acrylic is combed, making it fuller and even softer. In addition, Malaga Print has undergone a Hi-Bulk process where the yarn is steamed during production causing a little contraction, resulting in a more comfortable, soft fullness.
We also have a single color variant of Malaga, that has exactly the same thickness and running length - so there are plenty of opportunities to play with colors and exciting combinations. Check out the link to Malaga on the top of the page!
The yarn is OEKO-TEX® certified (no. 2076-311).
