ColorMix Sock is a high twist 3 ply, fingering weight yarn spun from superwash Merino wool with added nylon for durability. The combination of the tight twist, nylon and the extra ply create a more sturdy yarn especially designed for hard wearing items like socks and gloves, while keeping its wonderful next-to-the-skin softness.

Just as the name implies, ColorMix yarns use optical blending within the strand to create unlimited color blends. Unlike the usual hand-painted yarn, the color changes will work up into long bands of color, instead of short repeats. Colors will shift, marl, barber pole and shift back again.
