We were originally using a 60/30/10 merino/bamboo/nylon base yarn which we have since switched to a much squishier and softer 70/20/10 merino/bamboo/nylon blend yarn which is also a true fingering weight.

We are pleased to have found this base yarn to add to our line-up and hope you enjoy it too! It will give wonderful stitch definition with little splitting (which bamboo has a tendency to do) because of the lower content of bamboo. Knitted items will hold their shape well because of the nylon content which helps to hold shape and also wears well.
