KC Knitting Co

KC Knitting Co’s Seasons of Cascadia pattern collection is inspired by the four distinctive seasons of the Pacific Northwest and featuring yarn dyers from Oregon and Washington.

WINTER - February in Portland features colorwork motifs and intricate lacework, with Republic of Wool’s excellent hand-dyed speckles, that recall raindrops and the drizzly rainfall that characterizes Portland winters.

SPRING - Odell features beautiful nubbly Rambouillet from Ritual Dyes. It is named after a small town outside of Hood River, Oregon in the Columbia River Gorge, where spring is a rush of blooming growth and intricate, majestic beauty.

SUMMER - Showcasing bright, gorgeous hand-dyed yarn by Portland-based Teal Torch Knits, Sunspot is a celebration of vibrant PNW summers and the sunshine that we so dearly miss in fall and winter!

FALL - The beautiful, tonal colors and luxurious feel of Sprigs and Stone’s Mer-Yak DK, hand-dyed in Olympia, WA, give Canopy’s cropped waistline and wide, elbow-length sleeves an elegant drape, perfect with skirts or high-waisted pants and all the layers for fall.
