I prefer cables over lace, bright saturated colours over toned down shades and natural fibres over artificial. This can be seen in my designs as well. I also like to add a little twist to things I knit, may it be adorable bird buttons in various colours or embroidered bat wings at the shoulder blades. It’s all about making it your own, isn’t it?
