This scarf puts scrap yarn in good use. The scraps don’t need to be of same weight but it helps a lot and makes the result neater.

Fibonacci is a sequence, in which the next number is the sum of the two previous numbers. So it goes like 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13 etc. But because only one row of stripe doesn’t look like much on a scarf, the sequence starts this time with a four: 4, 4, 8, 12, 20, 32.

The gauge isn’t relevant, since it depends on the weight of the yarn used.
