Hello! My name is Lisa, but in the knitting world I go by ElloKnits.

My grandma taught me how to knit when I was in 6th grade. Although I was enthusiastic, it didn’t stick. I picked it back up and college and have been a regular knitter ever since – although let’s be honest it’s become more of an obsession.

I’m a graphic designer by trade, and I work at an design and branding agency in downtown Chicago. In 2012 I was given a wonderful opportunity to combine my two passions when I designed for and won Ravelry’s 2M Ravelers project bag contest.

At home I have an adorable 13-year-old pup named Zoey, who couldn’t care less about yarn, but occasionally reaps the benefits of my knitting addiction. :)
