Hi, I’m Megan Nodecker — knitwear designer, teacher, and co-founder of Pip & Pin.

I’ve been knitting for over 25 years and designing patterns since 2010. In that time, I’ve published over 100 patterns, been featured in Interweave Knits and KnitScene, co-authored four knitting books (including This Must Be The Place, inspired by British Columbia), and taught sold-out workshops at Knit City Vancouver and Calgary.

My patterns lean toward wearable, everyday garments — sweaters and accessories with clean lines, thoughtful construction, and sizing that works for real bodies.

I also teach online courses for knitters who want to go deeper: the Altering Sweater Patterns Course (for knitters who want their sweaters to actually fit) and Knitwear Design Mastery (for knitters who want to start designing their own patterns). Both are self-paced with lifetime access.
