I taught myself how to knit when I was 7 or 8 and I have been doing so ever since. My first real project was a beautiful knit sweater for my son when he was a newborn. I got re-married in July 2018 and changed my name from Melina Martin Gingras to Melina Flynn. I am in the process of updating all my patterns, so bear with me.
