Started knitting when I was eight for a Girl Scout badge - never got the badge, but the knitting (and crochet) stuck. I’m sort of fearless: nothing is hard, just more fiddly. And I love things that are exceptionally fiddly, like intarsia in the round (which I prefer to duplicate stitch), intricate cables, lace, fairisle, steeks, etc.
