The patterns from this book are designed to fit 17”-18” child and baby dolls such as the American Girl Doll, Baby Born (Zapf), Hannah (Götz) and Madam Alexander.

Kara is a six piece pattern. The sweater is a traditional Norwegian style and construction. The standed body is worked in the round from hem to neck. Opening are cut into the reinforced fabric to create openings for the dropped shoulder sleeves. The pants are bibbed and suspendered with short row shaping on the back seat area, and include a front pocket. Buttons hold the straps in place and add a decorative detail to the outter leg. The cap repeats some of the sweater’s stranded patterns. Striped mittens, socks, and a scarf complete the outfit.
