12th Hour Cowl
This cowl is a perfect last minute project. Pick a skein of bulky yarn and in few hours (maybe two) you have a gift.
This cowl is knit in the round, with stripes of knit and purls. The pattern is reversible.
Every year I donate knitted items for giving tree in our local library. Usually I use my knitted samples. This year however I didn’t have many as I gave them away earlier, yet I still wanted to give something to keep people warm. The 12th hour cowl came to rescue. Over the Thanksgiving weekend I made seven of them, and donated them to giving tree.
For the rest of the year I will donate all money earned from the purchase of this cowl pattern to our local charities. And any extra cowls that I will make will go to the same place.
List of places where the money will go:
Woman’s and children’s shelter:

I will add some of my own money to round up to $50 to donate the money to the Woman’s and children shelter.
