Pattern description from Vogue Knitting, Spring/Summer 2008: “Deepen the impact of your grand entrance with this exquisite lace shrug by Tony Limuaco. The piece, in beaded silk ‘Rock Star’ from Tilli Tomas, is worked by joining the sleeves at center back neck, then knitting the back panel downward. Final flourishes take the from of a crocheted rose adorning the center back and a pair of dramatic Renaissance cuffs, stitched separately and sewn on.”

“Close-fitting eyelet shrug with lace cuffs. Shown in One Size on pages 76 and 77.”

Knitted Measurements:

  • Width at back 14”/35.5cm
  • Length from center back 11”/28cm
  • Upper arm 11”/28cm

Note: “Support work on table or flat surface so that yarn does not stress unevenly.”

Editor’s note: There are apparently major issues with the pattern as printed in the magazine. A correct version is available from the designer’s website.
