24 Karat was a fun little project where I was able to experiment more on fair isle knitting. Knit top up with sport weight yarn, it begins with a garter stitch brim decorated with slip stitches. Two sections of stripes are separated by an easy to follow fair isle pattern in three colors. After the crown is decreased, you have the option of creating a simple pom pom for extra flair. The fair isle creates extra thickness, so it will definitely keep you warm!
