#25 Crocheted Coat
A crocheted, “fake” double breasted coat. The coat has 6 buttons and is lined. The coat is pictured on the left side. There were optional knitted instructions if you sent a self-addressed envelope to Vogue Knitting Book in 1966.
Materials: Unger’s Les Bouquets, 50 gram ball, 22 (24-26) balls. Boye No. G aluminum afgan hook. No. F aluminum crochet hook. 1 1/4 yds Staflex (interfacing). 3 1/2 yds of China Silk for lining.
Gauge: 4 sts--1”; 4 rows--1”.
Sizes: Directions are for size 12. Changes for sizes 14 and 16 are in parentheses.
Unger Les Bouquets - 80% Wool, 10% Mohair, 10% Vinyon, 50 gram ball = 110 yds.
