From pattern description: Standard-fitting strapless jumper has a straight bodice and fastens with a halter band.

From Vogue: In the hands of the ever-inventive Norah Gaughan, the jumper grows up. The piece is worked horizontally from side to side in Berroco’s “Ultra Alpaca,” with elongated dropped-garter-stitch gores shaping the skirt and offsetting the main body’s brocade pattern. A stockinette band, picked up along the bodice and folded under for facing, is secured by a seed stitch halter strap.
