A Sports Jerkin
This easily made sports jerkin, for which a misty shade of grey is suggested, would be ideal for wear on chilly days on the golf course.
For the jerkin, 12oz. of four-ply wool in a misty grey shade would be required. Also one pair No. 11 needles, one pair No. 15 needles (for the basque) and three buckles.
Measurements: Length of sleeve to underarm, 18 inches. Length from waist to underarm, 12½ inches. To fit a 32-inch bust.
Knit at a tension to produce eight stitches to one inch and 16 rows to one inch.
