Abricotine
Indulge in memories of summer. Enjoy all the goodness that autumn brings. Warmth and sweetness. Shifting colors and fullness. To me, apricots and plums are the symbols of these passing seasons. The Abricotine scarf is named after a Danish pastry using apricots. It combines these fruits and seasons into a delightful play of colors and lines.
The Abricotine scarf features an undulating lace pattern reminiscent of the roundness of apricots and plums. Stacked yarn-overs and elongated stitches give the scarf an airy and elegant look, while creating a reversible fabric at the same time.
Knit your own Abricotine and wrap yourself in sweetness for the coming season!
With two skeins of the suggested yarn, you’ll be able to knit one full scarf and a smaller one. Or to knit a small stole if you wish to.
If you’d rather knit a large stole, I’d recommend purchasing 4 skeins of the suggested yarn (2 in MC, 2 in CC).
