PATTERN NOTES
Weave in loose ends as work progresses.
Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.
Chain-3 at beginning of round counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated.
Round 8 of center motif, round 6 of corner motif and round 7 of side motif are each worked behind scallops and into round made before chain-5 spaces (round 4, round 2 and round 3, respectively). It helps to fold scallops forward. Corner front post treble crochets are worked over right side of scallops; all other stitches are worked behind scallops.
Corner and side motifs will be joined to center and adjacent motifs in the last 3-double crochet group round.
