This is a set of two patterns, a hat and mittens. It is a simple pattern with a textured stitch and a romantic touch : a pretty i-cord bow.
I named it after the word aemma (aéma) which means « bow » in ancient Greek.

These two designs are knit in the round, from ribs to top.
Several sizes are available in this patter, from child size to adult size, but I do not make a difference between one or another for the hat.

Even if you are not quite familiar with the techniques used in this pattern, have no worry !They are fully described in step-by-step video tutorials (links are given in the pattern). Please, be aware that the videos are in French. But I think using the visual support is enough to understand. Still you may fin other videos in your own language on the net.

Sizes
Hat : 40-43 / 44-47 / 48-51 / 52-55 / 56-59 / 60-63 cm  of circumference. 18 cm of depth for child sizes, 23 cm for adult sizes. Be aware, this hat has a little slouchy.
Mittens :  15-17/18-19/20-21/22-23 cm, sizes are given according to your hand measure (the larger zone, usually under the fingers).

Yardage
Hat : between 100 and 200 m according to size.
Mittens : between 80 and 170 m according to size ( and the length of your hand).

This pattern has been tested.

Deux modèles, bonnet et mitaines, très simple à réaliser : un point relief tout en douceur et une petite touche romantique grâce à un petit i-cord lacé et noué.

Les deux modèles se tricotent en rond, en partant de la base en côtes.
Plusieurs tailles sont fournies dans ce patron, de la taille enfant à la taille adulte, sans pour autant faire une distinction précise.

Tailles
Bonnet : 40-43 / 44-47 / 48-51 / 52-55 / 56-59 / 60-63 cm  de circonférence. 18 cm de profondeur pour les tailles enfant, 23 cm pour les tailles adultes. Attention, c’est un bonnet slouchy.
Mitaines :  15-17/18-19/20-21/22-23 cm, selon le tour de main au point le plus fort (généralement juste sous les doigts). Des indications sont données en cas de poignets fins.

Métrages
Pour le bonnet : entre 100 et 200 m selon la taille (et le slouchy qu’on veut obtenir).
Pour les mitaines : entre 80 et 170 m selon la taille (et votre longueur de main).

Ce patron a été testé.
