Ailsa Craig Cowl
WORKING IN three tweedy shades of blue, teal and yellow, Mary Henderson has created pretty, traditional Fair Isle patterning for her winter accessories set. It comprises a cosy cowl, a hat, and a pair of mittens. The cowl is worked in one piece with a Fair Isle section and a striped section; it’s then folded in half and stitched, so the wrong side is hiddenMary has knitted her set using a beautiful worsted-weight alpaca yarn from The Border Mill in Scotland. Yarn quantities given (one skein of each colorway) will make all 3 projects.
