This pattern is available from loveknitting.com for £4.20.

This cowl combined short cable features which make a V shape along the length. It is knitted in one piece and joined. (It could be made longer to suit by using a second 100g ball and continuing in pattern as set.)
It can be worn in a long drape loop or wrapped around twice for cosy warmth. Ideal for wearing at the neck of a coat in the winter, or over a top as an accessory in spring and autumn.
It is knitted with 100g, used as 2 x 50g balls, and worked with double strands throughout.
It is best knitted in a single colour yarn rather than a tweedy or self striping yarn, and looks lovely in hand dyed and variegated yarns.
