This lovely Christening Gown gets its over all texture from the combination of stitches. This Christening set is crochet solely with yarn, including all the lace work.
You get the instructions to make the gown in 3 sizes: 0-3 month, 6-9 month and 12 month; bonnet, shoes and matching bib to keep the gown nice between ceremony and pictures.
For Baby Christening outfit you will need 12.3 ozs Bernat Baby Sport yarn in White, Size J crochet hook, Needle to take yarn, 6 small snaps, 72” of 1\4” wide White ribbon, 66” of 1” wide White ribbon, Sewing needle and Sewing thread.
When you are done with Baby’s Outfit make a matching one for either as 12” Baby doll or 16” bear! This will make a nice gift for after the ceremony.
You get the instructions to make the gown with lace insert, puffed sleeves and ribbon accents as well as a bonnet. Plus instructions to make your own bear!
The outfit for the bear & doll was made using Bernat yarn, size H crochet hook or hook to obtain gauge, needle to take yarn, 1” wide ribbon, 4 small snaps, sewing needle and sewing thread.
The bear was made using Red Heart Super Saver yarns, size H crochet hook or hook to obtain gauge, needle to take yarn and stuffing.
Bear is 16”.
