Allino Tank
The Allino Tank is summertime on your knitting needles - made from a breezy linen cotton yarn and a flower stitch detail at the hem. A relaxing project in easy stockinette, trimmed with with polished folded edges that elevate a summer closet staple.
CONSTRUCTION
—
The Allino Tank is worked bottom-up in the round, beginning with a folded hem. The body is worked in stockinette stitch with a flower stitch detail near the bottom hem. The upper half is made by placing some stitches on hold while working the back, decreasing at the sides and then working short rows to shape the back neckline. The remaining stitches are picked up, repeating for the front half. The straps are grafted together with kitchener stitch. Stitches are picked up for the neckband and armholes to create a folded edge trim to match the hem.

SKILLS
—
This is a written pattern assuming intermediate knitting knowledge and is not intended to be beginner friendly. Supplemental research or practice to learn new skills may be required to complete this project.
This pattern requires a working knowledge of: knitting & purling both flat & in the round, decreasing, picking up stitches, folded edges, kitchener stitch. Previous experience with working speciality stitches like the flower stitch may be helpful.
Circular needles are used to work in the round for the body, then split to work flat for the top triangles. The straps are then grafted together.
Cast-on methods suggested in this pattern are able to be substituted with any other method.
