This open chain-work scarf is a great warm weather scarf. A one skein project if you are looking to try something a little different.

The design alternates between working width wise and length wise in alternating, simple sections. Directions are given to changing width for whatever size you may want, in whatever yarn you may want. Given yarn, hook size, gauge, and size are only what I did for the shown sample.
