Inspired by the traditional Fair Isle style known as the wave, but recoloured in shades of black, white and blue. The wave style of fair isle knitting is well suited for yarns that come in a close, graduated range of colours.

This sweater has the added bonus of being uni-sex in design and sizing. Easily adapted to other gauges for a wider range of sizes.

This is a quick knit if the knitter is comfortable with steeks and circular knitting.

The free pattern you may download is a scan of the now out-of-print pattern in the original booklet, kindly supplied by the company. Refer to Ravelry for a picture of the original finished garment for now.
