Queen City Yarns made a presentation at our retreat in Charlotte last November. I was particularly intrigued by Coleman, a linen and silk DK weight yarn. (See my review in Yarns We Love.)

This pullover features vents at the sides and at the sleeve cuffs, which are closed by ties. (It is the vents at the sleeve cuffs that change this pattern from Intermediate to Complex. If you eliminate the vents and the Horizontal Chain Stitch which separates the bands at the bottom, sleeves, and neckline I would probably grade it as Easy.)

The sweater is worked flat from the bottom up, with set-in sleeves using the top-down, short-row construction.

I used the Horizontal Chain Stitch technique to separate the moss stitch at the bottom, vents, cuffs, and neckline. I like adding this detail when the body stitch pattern does not line up with the band pattern.
