Hook in to a pattern that is both fun to create AND fun to play with after you put the crochet hook away! The inspiration for this pattern was based on an electrical “fishing” game that my sister and I received as children back in the 1960’s. Unlike the inspiration, the finished product of this pattern is pretty much guaranteed not to catch your living room on fire or give you significant electrical shocks. This pattern does use beads for fish eyes, magnets, and a dowel for a fishing rod, so it is not appropriate for small children and for animals.

A great stash buster, as you can create a whole school of fish using very little yarn. You will also want to gather some 6mm beads for eyes, fiber fill, sewing thread and needle and a tapestry needle to complete the fish. The pole will take a dowel, tape and a plain shank button.

Download / copy for your personal use and enjoy a some creative fishing.
