I am a textile designer and a writer.
In addition to the designs that are on Ravelry, I have had designs published in Crochet World, Crochet!, and Create and Decorate Magazines. Most of my designs reflect a decorative, innovative asthetic. I love taking a trend and visualizing it “out of the box.” What’s a new spin? What will make the Maker stand out from the crowd?
My primary forms of designing are crochet, embroidery, felting and needlepunch. These forms of designs suit my other interests of doll collecting and miniatures. Many of my designs are geared to “regular scale people,” but I do love to work for the “miniature and doll world” too. My preferred scales are 1:12 and 1:6.
Speaking of interest, one of the driving interests in my life is my spirituality. I am a practitioner of Witchcraft. Many of my designs are geared toward the metaphysical community and the practitioners of the magical arts. I have had the honor of having several patterns and articles published by Llewellyn publishing
My belief is that we are the creations of the Divine Creator. How and what we create, in any manner that we create, is how we bridge that perceived distance of Divinity and Humanity. Blessed Be.
