Amitie Cardigan
Please note that VAT may be added at checkout depending on your country.
This cardigan is worked from the top down with a drop-shoulder construction. The seamless structure allows you to adjust the length of both the body and sleeves as you knit. Sleeves are picked up from the body and worked in the round, making it easy to customize both width and length. The body is constructed in modular pattern sections, allowing the overall length to be adjusted naturally by adding or omitting pattern panels.
The design combines a variety of textured stitch patterns, creating an engaging knitting experience with variation in each section. The front is finished with a double-knit button band, which stabilizes the rich textures and adds balance to the overall silhouette. A deep V-neckline reduces visual heaviness and creates a relaxed, open fit.
Skill Level : Intermediate to Advanced
This pattern is based on an understanding of top-down construction and includes techniques such as German short rows, M1L, M1R increases, picking up stitches, double-knit button band, and lace patterns. It is suitable for knitters who are comfortable working with multiple techniques and textured stitch patterns.

Pattern
The pattern includes 20 pages of written instructions and 20 A3 chart pages, with separate charts for the Back, Left Front, Right Front, and Sleeves for each size.
With the exception of key construction steps, stitch patterns are charted rather than written out stitch by stitch. For this reason, the pattern is not recommended for knitters who are only familiar with fully written instructions.
Photo tutorials and video links are included for the main techniques. The videos are in Korean, but YouTube’s automatic subtitle translation can be used.
Notes
- Yarn quantities are based on size 95 and may vary depending on the knitter.
- Always check your gauge with a swatch before starting and adjust your size if necessary.
- Due to the nature of the stitch patterns, the left and right sides may not be perfectly symmetrical.
