Amory Socks
Amory is an Old German name meaning “brave”. We are all called upon to be brave at different times of our lives, and our bravery takes many different forms. Sometimes, we are brave for ourselves and at other times we are brave for others. It’s not always easy, and yet the result is almost always worthwhile.
There is no real bravery required for knitting these top (cuff) down socks - the Slip-Cross Coin Cable which runs along the centre of the sock is not as hard as it looks, and there is a photo tutorial included to help. The flap and gusset heel uses slip stitches to create a cushioned heel.
Challenge yourself or celebrate someone else’s bravery - it’s time to cast on!
