Andrew the Sea Otter
Say hello to Andrew the Sea Otter, a firm favourite in the menagerie and a quick and easy pattern to crochet for yourself or for the otter lover in your life. Sea otters are one of the smallest ocean-dwelling mammals on the planet, and are best known for their adorable habits, which include holding paws while they sleep to keep them from drifting apart. This cute character sits comfortably in your hand once completed, and is a great pattern to level up your crochet skills as a beginner looking to learn extra techniques.
This soft toy will look at home in the nursery, sitting on the shelf or lovingly gift-wrapped for the loved ones in your life. Once you’ve finished crocheting Andrew the Sea Otter, you’ll be ready to start the next animal in the collection with this addictive new hobby!
TOFT’s Edward’s Menagerie collection is a series of crochet amigurumi toys designed by Kerry Lord. This crochet animal kit contains TOFT’s quality pure wool yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern. There are video links for all the crochet stitches and techniques used in the pattern to get you started and help you complete your toy. Share your progress with the TOFT community on Instagram @toft_uk using the #edsanimals hashtag.
