Angularities Armwarmers
My friend Marce and I were sitting at knitting group one night, discussing all the fun we’d had at Stitches Midwest last year. I’d taken a class from the superbly fabulous Ginger Luters on mitered squares and was showing off my class handiwork. Suddenly, Marce snatched up one of the larger mitered squares and placed it at an angle across her hand. “There!” she exclaimed, “Wouldn’t that make a wonderful fingerless glove?” And so, at her urging, Angularities were born. With a base of a four-square miter, and a body of k1, p1 rib, this pattern is intriguing enough to keep you interested, and fast enough to finish in a snap! The ribbing enables the pattern to fit a wide range of sizes, and can be knit as long or as short as the wearer desires.
