The ANIKA TOP, thoughtfully designed with beginners in mind, offers a perfect introduction to knitting. This timeless and slightly oversized garment not only effortlessly complements any wardrobe but also serves as an ideal project for those new to knitting. The pattern features clear instructions and a classic stockinette stitch, making it accessible and enjoyable for beginners seeking a rewarding knitting experience.

This charming top is knit with Alpaca Melody yarn, known for its fluffy and soft texture, providing warmth and coziness to your finished creation.

Crafted with a classic stockinette stitch pattern, this top is worked from the top down. Beginning in the round, it gracefully incorporates shoulder increases before separating into front and back sections. The front is knitted first, followed by the back, intentionally creating a back that is 5 cm longer than the front. This unique technique beautifully lowers the neckline when merging the stitches for both sections to continue knitting in the round.

Once united, the body’s two parts harmoniously progress in the round. Subsequently, a delightful split hem is fashioned by once again dividing the piece into front and back segments, with the back hem extending further.
