My daughters fell in love with my Apple Blossom cardigan that I made for babies. I decided to make them sweaters of their own based upon my original baby cardigan. Apple Blossom for Girls is made in one piece starting from the bottom up; the sleeves are made in the round and joined in for the raglan shaping. This means the only thing you really have to concentrate on is the dainty little lace pattern and the picot edges (hem is finished as you go, but neckline sewn down later). There’s very little finishing in general, the size range is generous, and it’s remarkably pretty.
