This tank is a great project for the novice knitter who would like to move on from simple scarves and washcloths: the body is worked in the round in stockinette stitch, and the upper front and back are worked flat in garter stitch, which is knitted on every row. The body is shaped without decreases or increases by changing needle size.

SKILL LEVEL
Easy: Skills include knitting in the round and
knitting flat (no purling), decreases, binding
off stitches in center of row, and sewing seams.
Optional: Three-needle bind-off.

Shown in size S with 0”/0 cm ease. Intended to fit with -2”/5 cm to +2”/5 cm ease at bust.

PATTERN NOTES
• Worked in the round to the armholes
• Decreases shape front and back garter
stitch panels
• Straps can be sewn at shoulder or joined
using three-needle bind-off
