Aurora Canyon is a classic cardigan, fitted, with a slight flare below the waist. Cables and a pretty stitch pattern on fronts and back are flanked by brioche waffle rib side panels that naturally create a flattering scooped shirt-tail shaping above the hips.
Sweater is worked from the bottom in one piece to underarms, with bodice fronts and back worked separately. Shoulders are shaped with short rows and joined using 3-needle bind off. Sleeves are set in. Attached I-cord trims front edges and neckline.
Sweater shown is size 38” worn on a 36” dress form.
Yarn: Sunday Knits 5 ply (worsted weight) in Angelic (merino angora), Nirvana (merino cashmere), Eden (merino) or Brigadoon (merino tweed):
8 (8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13) skeins. Shown in Angelic clove.
