This intarsia cape will swish beautifully around your shoulders this autumn. This design began with the unusual construction: I discovered that by knitting a set of double increases at either side of a central spine, I could make the leaves fly off in opposite directions!

Two side sections are supported with a centre panel, and a lace edging completes this charming piece.
