A cute little amigurumi penguin named Baboo, by Susan Yeates.

Baboo the baby penguin has only just learnt to swim!

Baboo was the name I gave to a toy penguin I had as a child and so when it came to naming this little water baby this was the first name that sprang to mind.

This project is the only one in the book Amigurumi Animals to use different colours within the rounds of the body to create his little white tummy, so concentrate hard when it gets to that part of the pattern!
