Circularly knit, steeked infant’s fingering weight cardigan with Fair Isle-style motifs.

The pattern offers two silhouettes:

Bell-shaped (shown in mint): An extra-full, bell-shaped torso gets gathered just below the yoke.

Straight (shown in grey): A classic, straight-sided body.

Colors shown:
mint = light green 8222, lupine 5226, powder pink 4202, light eggplant 4435.
grey = sand heather 0004, grey heather 0007, golden olive 2226, retro red 382.

Needle suggestions:
for looser knitters: US#2 (2.75mm) & US#0 (2.00mm)
for tighter knitters: US#2 1/2 (3.00mm) & US#1 (2.25mm)

The samples were knit in Dale Baby Ull, which has been discontinued in North America. Above, you’ll see several excellent substitutes listed - use your favorite fingering weight yarn that gives you the same gauge.
