Back For Good Sweater is an oversized model worked in Stockinette stitch. The European shoulder construction is worked with increases shaped as flowers along each shoulder seam. The back is slightly longer than the front. The sleeves are wide and worked with decreases underneath the arm. The sweater is worked in a single strand of silk mohair, while the cuffs and trims are worked as two layers with two strands held together, adding a nice contrast and a good hold.

Starting on the back piece you will work back and forth adding increases in each side along the slanting shoulder seam. Next you will knit up stitches along this shoulder seam working the shoulders back and forth while at the same time working increases towards the centre of the sweater shaping the neckline. At the bottom of the neckline stitches are cast on and the front pieces are joined, and worked back and forth until both back and front pieces are joined at the bottom the armholes. Now you will work in the round in Stockinette stitch. The body is finished with a double layered trim in Stockinette with two strands of silk mohair held together. On the first round the stitch count is doubled buy working 2 stitches in 1, while at the same time placing the stitches on 2 separate needles. Now the front and back part of the double layered trim is worked individually starting with the wrong side. When both parts have been worked the parts are worked together while at the same time binding the stitches off.
Knit up stitches along the armhole and work the sleeve in the round in Stockinette stitch while at the same time working decreases underneath the arm. The cuffs are worked in the same way as the trim on the body.
Finish by knitting up stitches along the neckline and work in Stockinette in the round, but work a purl round halfway. Now the edge is folded back to back. The stitches are bound off while at the same time being attached to the back side.
