Bovver is London slang for a bit of trouble, and trouble is what you need. Shove your knitted colours in the face of fellow commuters with their drab luggage and borish black briefcases. Your boring bag cries out for Bag Bovver; clout, character, and a giant helping of “Oi! Cast yer mince pies over this blinder, me old mucker!”. Knit one or I’ll send the boys round for your kneecaps.

ALL CHANGE When you get weary of your chosen Bovver tear it off with wild abandon and reinvent your bag with a whole new bit of Bovver. Knit festive Bovver for Christmas, geeky Bovver to profess your love of Space Invaders, cryptic coded Boover to pass on messages to spies, surreal Bovver to confuse onlookers, and marriage proposal Bovver to snag the one you love.
