Baltic Sea
The Baltic Sea shawl proves that simplicity isn’t just easy, it’s stunning.
This crescent-shaped shawl combines smooth stockinette with wavy feather-and-fan lace, framed by garter ridges for just the right amount of texture. The result? A piece that looks intricate but feels effortless, both to knit and to wear.
Knit it as big or small as you like. Just keep going until you run out of yarn or reach the perfect size. No overcomplication, no stress, just the joy of watching the stitches unfold.
Pick up your needles, settle in, and enjoy a project that flows off your needles as smoothly as it fits into your wardrobe.
YARN
Three skeins of Isager Tweed (70% wool, 30% mohair; 200 m / 219 yds per 50 g), shown in colour North Sea.
Or approximately 600 m / 656 yds of similar fingering weight yarn.

This shawl is worked flat, but I recommend using an 80 – 100 cm / 32 – 40 inch circular needle to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
